Version 2026-10 · Draft pending legal review.

  1. Purpose. hepa is for churches, ministries, gospel activities and authorised Christian charitable giving only.
  2. Accounts. You use hepa as an individual. Church roles are granted to your personal account by the church; you are responsible for actions taken under your account.
  3. Giving. Gifts are made to the church, not to hepa. hepa facilitates payment through Flutterwave and does not guarantee how a church uses funds. Gifts are generally non-refundable except as decided by the church and processed through the refund workflow.
  4. Fees and commission (3%). A total of 3% is deducted from each cash gift or payment before the balance settles to the receiving organisation's verified bank account: approximately 2% is Flutterwave's payment-processing fee and 1% is hepa's platform commission. The deduction is made automatically by Flutterwave's split-payment system at the time of payment; the remaining amount goes straight to the organisation's account, and hepa never holds the organisation's funds. Flutterwave's portion may vary slightly by payment method, card type or currency. Refunds, where approved, follow the refund workflow; processing fees already charged may not be returned.
  5. Gifts to a minister. Cash gifts a member sends to a lead minister are paid through the organisation's verified account and recorded as gifts to the minister; the same 3% applies. The minister may approve, decline or ask to see the giver.
  6. Non-cash gifts and vows. Item gifts are arranged directly between giver and organisation. Vows recorded in the planner are private until paid or delivered.
  7. Item donations. hepa does not guarantee the quality, ownership, delivery or suitability of donated goods. Arrangements are between donor and church.
  8. Private requests. Contact Pastor and Macedonian Call are not emergency, medical, legal or professional services.
  9. Verification. hepa may suspend or revoke a church's verification at any time if information is false, misleading or policy is breached; new gifts are then blocked.
  10. Acceptable use. No fraud, misleading appeals, hateful or abusive content, or non-church fundraising. Report concerns using the Report links.
  11. Liability. To the extent permitted by law, hepa is not liable for acts of churches, donors or payment providers.
