Giving on hepa

You can give to verified churches as tithing, offering, faith seed, special offering, general donation, special-event giving and — where approved by hepa — building fund, missions and evangelism, or welfare and benevolence.

Where your money goes

Payments are processed by Flutterwave and settle to the church's own bank account registered with Flutterwave as a payout subaccount. hepa does not receive church donations into its own account.

Fees

See our Terms and FAQ.

Receipts

A receipt is issued only after hepa confirms with Flutterwave that your payment succeeded for the correct amount, currency and church. hepa receipts confirm your gift; they are not tax certificates, and hepa makes no claim about tax deductibility.

Your name on records

Your name and amount are shared with the organisation's authorised finance team and appear on their giving reports.

Refunds

Contact the church first. Refunds are requested by the church's authorised finance staff, approved by hepa finance and executed by Flutterwave. A gift is shown as refunded only after Flutterwave confirms it.
